After renting for many years we have finally taken the plunge and bought a house. It's a beautiful New Orleans style bungalow with a ton of charm. 3 bedrooms, 1.75 baths (almost) a partially finished basement, french doors opening onto a small veranda, great trees, and a great neighborhood.
However, we are in for a ton of work. I will chronicle everything we do here as we transform the house into our vision of perfection. The list includes, painting basement, painting exterior, landscaping, building a deck, putting in kitchen cabinets, bathroom updates, and much more.
